When you enable the Address Whitelist Protection function, your account can only withdraw to the addresses in the whitelist.
The instructions for using this function mainly include the following points:

Note:
Once the address whitelist protection is enabled, you can’t make withdrawals to other non-whitelisted addresses.
If you turn off this function, your account will be able to withdraw to ANY withdrawal address after 24 hours.
Address whitelist protection is in effect for all products on BIT and Matrixport. That includes products accessed through the web browser, app, and by API.
How to turn on the Address Whitelist Protection function
1. You may enter the [Withdrawal Address Management] page in two ways to enable Whitelist Protection.
Click on the homepage [Personal Info] icon - [Security].
After entering the security page, roll down the page to the [Withdrawal Address Management] part, then click the [Set] button.
Now you can see the [Withdrawal Address Management] page.
Note, you may also enter the [Withdrawal Address Management] page from [Assets].
Click on the homepage [Assets]-[Unified Account].
Click [Withdrawal Address] to go to the [Withdrawal Address Management] page.
App in homepage click on top left [More] icon - Tap on [Account Info] - Select [Withdrawal Address Book]
2. After entering the [Withdrawal Address Management] page, click the button on the left side to enable [Address Whitelist Protection] function.
3. When you turn on the [Address Whitelist Protection] button, there will be a pop-up window:
You can customize the effective time after an address being added to whitelists. For example, if you choose [immediately], any address added to the whitelist will immediately become whitelisted; if you choose [5 days], any address added to the whitelist will be whitelisted after 5 days.

4. After you click the button, you will need to pass security verification to proceed: please click [Get Code] and enter the relevant code, then click [Confirm].

5. After you passed security verification, [Address Whitelist Protection] is turned on. Then, you may start to add your withdrawal address.
Note: In the Address Whitelist Protection mode, you'll need to add the relevant withdrawal address to the whitelist before you want to withdraw crypto. If you’ve chosen an effective period when turning on [Address Whitelist Protection], you will need to wait for the address to become effective. Otherwise, you won't be able to make a withdrawal.
How to add a withdrawal address to the whitelist
1. Click [Add address] to start the process.

2. Please pay attention to the following points when adding a withdrawal address:
Select the crypto of the withdrawal address.
You may set a note for the withdrawal address, such as the corresponding platform, wallet name, etc. This can help you easily find the address in the future.
Copy and paste the withdrawal address into the [Address] column.
After you have completed all the steps, click the box to set it as a whitelist address
Click [Submit] to enter the next step.

3. You'll need to pass security verification :
Click [Get code] and enter all the required codes.
Click [Submit] to proceed.

Before entering the codes, please double-check the crypto and the address. If this was not your own operation, please contact our support team [email protected].
4. After passing the security verification, you can see the newly added address on the page of [Withdrawal Address]. A tag of [Trusted] is displayed below your address, indicating that this address has been added to whitelists successfully.
How to remove whitelisted addresses
1. In order to remove an whitelisted address, first find the corresponding address on the page of [Withdrawal Address], then click the “delete icon” next to the address.

Note: If the removed address is a trusted address (whitelist address) while the whitelist function is enabled, your account won't be able to withdraw to this address.
2. Click [OK] in the pop-up window to delete the address.
How to adjust the effective time after address whitelists are added
If you want to change the effective time after enabling Address Whitelist Protection, please click the [Adjust] button on the page of [Withdrawal Address]

2. When you click the [Adjust] button, there will be a pop-up window:
You can change the effective time after an address being added to whitelists. For example, if you change it to [immediately], any address added to the whitelist will immediately become whitelisted; if you change it to [5 days], any address added to the whitelist will be whitelisted after 5 days.

3. After you click the button of [Adjust effective time], you will need to pass security verification to proceed: please click [Get Code] and enter the relevant code, then click [Confirm].

4. After the security check, you have successfully adjusted the effective time. You can check the instructions in the middle of the page, indicating that the current effective time has been successfully adjusted to [5 days].

5. Please note that if you adjust the effective time to “immediately”, changes will take effect after 24 hours.
6. After clicking the [Adjust effective time] button and passing the security check, you have successfully submitted the request of adjusting the effective time to “immediately”. You can check the instructions in the middle of the page, indicating that the change will take effect in 24 hours.
7. If you want to cancel the adjustment, click the [Edit] button to adjust.

8. Click [Confirm] on the pop-up window to cancel the adjustment. Please note, once cancelled, adjusting the effective time to “immediately” again will result in a recalculation of the validity period.
How to turn off the Address Whitelist Protection function
1. To turn off the Address Whitelist Protection function, click the button on the right side of [Address Whitelist Protection].

2. You'll need to pass security verification to turn off the Address Whitelist Protection function:
Click [Get code] and enter all the required codes.
Click [Confirm] to proceed
Please note: After turning off the Address Whitelist Protection function, your account will be able to withdraw to any withdrawal address, which may lead to greater risk.

3. After the security check, you have successfully submitted the request of turning off the Address Whitelist Protection function. Please note, the change will take effect after 24 hours, which means the Address Whitelist Protection function is still effective within 24 hours after you submitted the change.

4. After 24 hours, the button on the upper left corner will turn grey, indicating that the Address Whitelist Protection function is turned off.

5. If you want to cancel the change, click the [Cancel Close] button.
6. Click [Confirm] on the pop-up window to disable the whitelist protection function. Please note, once cancelled, closing the Address Whitelist Protection function again will result in a recalculation of the validity period.
